Do you sell on eBay? You need to know about the changes

If you are like me you did not know that come August 31,2009 eBay can use any of your pictures they want to for any reason without your permission unless you go into your account and opt out!

Here is the info on this new eBay change.
I looked and I don't see anywhere that I received an email from eBay on this. Thank heavens for other communities who help keep us ebayers in the know.

Everyone needs to thank this gal cause she makes this process so easy to understand and opt NO too. If you have problems getting it to allow you to change log out and back in and it should work. It did for me.

Some folks are having issues getting the option to change to NO. Keep trying and you can always call eBay and tell them it won't work. I think their system is getting overloaded with everyone opting NO.

Just keeping everyone informed the best we can.

Remembering a Hero

Memorial Day all around the world is the one day everyone can stop and say thanks to the countless men and women who gave up their lives so that we might be free. No matter what country you are in, what religion you believe in or don't, we all share a common bond in every one of us has had brave men and women throughtout history, who have fought for our countries.

Today remember to wear red as a universal symbol of thanks to the men and women who gave so freely for us. They gave their lives so we can live our lives.
At 3pm everywhere stop and for a moment of silent thanks to those heros.

Here is a picture of one of my Hero's..Frank or Dad as I called him fought in World WarII (the sailor to the right.) He left this earth this past July 1 but is remembered every day.

This has to be the most unique and wonderful Christmas decoration of all times....

Christmas Light Board
This Christmas light board is 10 inches high and 24 inches wide. There is Santa, his elf and a Christmas tree with 20 multi-colored lights scattered around. There is an hinged brace in back which allows it to lay flat for easy storage. One buyer of this said she would use it for their Christmas tree in their cabin.
This is her version of a pattern designed by "Heavenly Homespun".
Julie the shoppe owner came over from Dandelion Darlings Marketplace and as you can see she is an amazing artist!

The Gathering Bench Primitive Pillow

Retail Value $24.99

Everyone needs a gathering bench. And this pillow is the perfect accent to that bench! Detailed with pip berries, wreaths, a heart and even a hat box! This pillow is made from coffee-stained muslin. It was then framed by red and tan homespun and backed by green and tan homespun. The pillow measures approx 14x10.

The Gathering Bench was adapted from a pattern by Primitive Stitches and was entirely hand stitched by Jen!!

Nothing smells better to me then to walk into my apartment after baking a batch of doll bodies. The scent of coffee and cinnamon just gives me the tingles!
